As a member of the data acquisition team, Verónica da Rosa Guimarães is responsible for assessing the inventory of full-text materials for RILM Abstracts and taking the necessary steps to acquire content to fill any gaps. In addition, Verónica keeps steady channels of communication with licensors regarding updates and other material-related issues. She is also responsible for consolidating content-associated information in various internal documents and software platforms.
Da Rosa Guimarães is a PhD candidate in musicology and medieval studies at the CUNY Graduate Center. Her dissertation investigates the network of influences that shaped the music of the troubadours, using a combination of algorithmic analysis and evolutionary theory. Her research interests additionally include film music and music perception.
