Michael Lupo

Michael Lupo prepares detailed digital bibliographic records of musicological literature, representing a wide range of musical practices, published in numerous countries, especially Italy; and he assists in the training of new editorial staff. He also oversees marketing for the RILM’s suite of products.

Michael is a PhD candidate at the CUNY Graduate Center in musicology where he researches 20th-century avant-garde music in Italy, particularly the late electroacoustic compositions of Luigi Nono, which is the subject of his dissertation. He also teaches courses on piano performance, music theory, Western art music history, and American popular music at The John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
