We will provide insight into RILM’s strong commitment to international and multilingual scholarship, and inclusion of global non-music resources that are relevant to ethnomusicologists, with an emphasis on researching performing arts of Africa and the African diaspora. Attend any session or all, and receive a free coffee gift card. RILM will be present at the Third MUSAM Conference, Study Group “Music and American Studies” Spanish Society for Musicology, which takes place at the University of Santiago de Compostela and via the Zoom platform from Thursday 14 until Saturday 16 October 2021. 

On 14 October, at 12:30-13:00 CET, RILM Editor Beatriz Goubert will present the paper “Escuchando desde los datos: Una aproximación a los estudios de música iberoamericana desde los recursos digitales de literatura musical” [Listening to the data: An approach to Ibero-American music studies from digital music literature resources]. The paper will be given online and is accessible for registered participants.
